Qualification of professionals
The implementation of PPGCP is in addition to the other graduate programs offered in Pará and also in the North region as a whole. Contributing satisfactorily to the qualification of the professionals who work in the region in the most diverse segments. Its main highlight is that it is currently the only Political Science Graduate Program in the North. Its activities seek to collaborate with the social development of the Amazon, through the production of knowledge that allows to see the reality of the region under a critical eye.
Importance of the Program to the region
The Program has a great value for the state of Pará and for the North region, due to meeting an existing demand in relation to the need for trained professionals in Political Science to work in the most diverse sectors of society that deal with activities that involve politics, both in government entities and in the proven initiative, as well as educational and research institutions, among others.
